At Eagle Institute Karate Club, we welcome everyone, whether you want to compete, get fit, or simply enjoy training with friends. We provide opportunities for all, from international and national competitions to summer camps and outdoor sessions. Every member is treated as an individual, and our approach goes beyond physical training. With Sensei Kamil’s 20+ years of karate experience, black belt in Shotokan, and accreditation as a Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner, we also focus on developing mental strength, confidence, and positive behaviour, helping each student grow both on and off the mats.
4–6 yrs – 50-minute fun class where children learn karate through games and play.
7–13 yrs – 1-hour class focusing on strong foundations from white to green belt.
13+ or Green Belt + – 1-hour class developing higher skills, techniques and sparring for advanced progress.
16+ All Abilities - Open to everyone aged 16 and over. Fun, high-energy sessions mixing fitness, strength, and technique. Perfect for beginners or experienced fighters, build power, stamina, and confidence while training in a friendly group.
Zydrune, our safeguarding officer, focuses on ensuring that our students are always protected from any potential harm. Her role is to educate our students on the importance of safety and good practices, as well as to continuously improve our safeguarding policies.
Sensei Kamil has over 20 years of karate experience, holds a black belt in Shotokan, and founded Eagle Institute Karate Club in 2014. As an accredited Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner, he is able to help students not only build physical strength and discipline but also develop confidence, focus, and a positive mindset that supports them in everyday life.
Practising Shotokan since 1999, currently holding the rank of Nidan. My passion lies in educating individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, through the practice of traditional karate. As an instructor, I am dedicated to instilling traditional karate values by utilising a blend of traditional and contemporary training methods
